Great Product

This a Great Product. It goes in just like the paper work and the u tube video. I took my car into the shop to get this fixed. They found the problem and said it would 380.00 to put in a new cable to fix the problem. My replacement part was needed inside the motor compartment. It took about 20 min. Had to take out the battery so I could see what I was doing. The new part took less than a 1 min To put on. Great Product again.Read full review...

I could not find anything bad to say about this product. It was a perfect fit. My transmission responded immediately. Anyone who experiences a transmission problem, please check the the kick down cable first.. This will save you time and money. Speaking of money this cable's price was very competitive. Excellent 1998 Oldsmobile Silhouette Shift Cable Repair Kit w/ bushing

I had to use a 1/2" nut to clear the red plast installer because the blue plastic nut in the kit did not fit the AT linkage cable head inside the car.
I used a plier and it worked perfectly.

Hard to get on to shifter stud because of limited room to get channel lock plier in position. Had to insert wood wedge under shifter arm so not to bend arm, then hit shifter cable bushing with a socket & extension.
