Doesn't like 9V batteries
I bought this to charge 9V batteries only to find out that it doesn't seem to recognise 9V batteries with zero charge. That means you have to charge the 9V batteries a bit before putting them in... and that kind of defeats the purpose? In two years I've only successfully charged a couple of batteries. For a long time I thought it was faulty because nothing seemed to work.
Seems to work a bit better on AA and AAA batteries... although for a long time I didn't realise that you needed to charge them in pairs. There is no warning about this on the charger.
The instructions are not great. They tell you to disconnect the power between charging. Not clear if that's for safety reasons or to reset the charger?
Also not clear if the charger is meant to turn itself off when the battery is charged... as the instructions seem to suggest otherwise and the charger didn't turn itself off after a couple of days... so I pulled the batteries out myself.
This only charges NiMH which means you need a second charger for Li-ion.
Of my 5 chargers this is my least favourite.
It has fairly sturdy construction.

Disappearing Batteries
I put these batteries into one of the proximity lights that I have scattered around the house. I haven't seen them since, meaning that they have not discharged yet. I will be getting more!
