Primal Rage...pure nostalgia

Let's be honest...this game was never that good. There were lots of other fighters in the 90's that were a lot better. Nonetheless, this game is basically awesome. Giant dinosaurs and gorilla's fighting? Yes, please. Load times suck, the sound is weak, and the game has a VERY steep learning curve if you're not using a stick to play with. Many characters have moves that require you to press and hold X, Y, and B then perform a d-pad combination. While this works fine on an arcade machine or a stick, it barely works on any console controller pad. Still, the characters are awesome, the graphics have held up surprisingly well, and the moves and fatalities are rad. This is not a good game, but it's definitely worth owning...if that makes sense.Read full review...

Primal Rage for the SEGA SATURN is a flawless 2D fighting game, that delivers excellent gameplay, great responsive controls and beautiful graphics that is close to the arcade. Primal Rage is pretty pricey for the SEGA SATURN, but worth buying for any SEGA SATURN collector that deserves to be in your collection.Read full review...
