Well Made, Great Value Product For Audio And Broadcast Professionals
As a broadcast engineer, I set up a lot of sports broadcasts using headset mics. Before, I had to run eight cables, often over long distances and/or between tables, four mics and four headsets. Now, two Cat5 cables do the same job, only easier, neater, and more "professional" looking. As long as you're running balanced lines (and if you don't know what those are, this product is not for you), you shouldn't have any problems. Please use stranded, shielded Cat5. I particularly LOVE the Ethercon connectors! My only "gripe" is that you can't easily mix and match connectors on the boxes. They're either all XLR-M or XLR-F. And no TRS at all that I have seen. You'll have make up adapters, not a huge deal.... But for the price, there's no way you could build these yourself (I've tried)!Read full review...
