Works but front wears

Bit fiddly to get looking as it does in pictures, but does reduce wind problem. Main issue I have is that the front part of the colour wears quickly - at least with me it did

Looks good, does little.

Pros: Easy to fit, sits well, looks good, keeps the neck above it snug and warm. Good value for the price from this seller. Quality appears to be good.

Cons: Did very little to reduce wind noise on my Shoei Qwest helmet.

Contrary to many reviews, the helmet is not much more difficult to get over the head with the windjammer fitted, and it was not particularly difficult to fit it, either. With a pinlock visor fitted, I have not not experienced increased fogging. It does get warmer inside the helmet, which is mostly a good thing now in the autumn.

But the wind noise ... both the whistle and the rumble are still there. Both definitely from the underside of the helmet; wrapping am arm around my neck while riding decreases both significantly. EarPeace plugs take away a lot more noise than does the windjammer.

Good improvement on the original, just a little pricy

Easier to user than the original version, but doesn't justify the twice the price.
I've been using these wind blocker for the last 5 years, they are good and they do remove most of the noise cause by drag air within the helmet.
Have no issues at all with the sticker glue. It's removable without leaving any residue.

Indispensable

This product is probably the most indispensable "extra" riding gear or accessory ever. My absolute favorite (including heated gear/grips, luggage, etc). I use it year round unless it gets consistently over 80F. This greatly increases riding comfort. Both cold and noise are greatly reduced. It helps extend the riding season (year round for me in the NW US) by keeping cold air from entering the bottom of your helmet (which is more than you might think!). The noise reduction is also very effective. Searching for noise reduction is how I found this originally. It makes it only (very) slightly more difficult to get the helmet on, not even noticeable once you do it a couple times. I use a "skull cap" to help it go over my ears, which I would do anyway for the ears and to keep my hair from being mashed down in strange directions. Use a pinlock or similar lens (also a fantastic product). Make sure the "working part" is pulled down after donning, not tucked into the helmet, and you're in business.

This is very well designed and manufactured. Durable, comfortable, easy to install and remove from a helmet. Should fit all sizes. And the designer keeps improving it continually! I've now owned 3. The first was an older design and the silicone got a little un-sticky after years (removing/reinstalling multiple times ) and the material stretched a bit. The neckband edge wore slightly, but not excessively. The 2nd was an improved design (stickier silicone and softer interior) and I still use it. It never slips or needs adjusting. I now have a 3rd for a new helmet and it has been improved again! The silicone band is lower profile (better if you have concerns about the look) and the neckband is sewn around the edge to ensure less wear. I'm sure it will take thousands of dons/doffs to cause noticeable wear now.

Bottom line, this works perfectly. No fiddling or customizing to make it fit. No maintenance. It greatly reduces both noise and cold. It's worth trying for either issue alone, but you get both benefits. Truly no down sides at all. And it is priced very fairly. I honestly think it's awesome and a perfect product. You will not regret trying it!

windjammer

I have only worn it twice. City Riding not a real issue, but highway riding at speed it reduced the baffling I would get. For the price it great. I am not sure on its longevity but for the cost if its once a season I could deal with that.Read full review...

No-stick Windammer

the idea is sound, the design is fine, so all the materials and construction. The performance is reasonable, however, the adhesive used to locate the Windjammer on the base of the helmet is unsuitable. It melts over a period of a week or so, and in mild weather mind, causing the helmet elastic to slowly slide off the helmet. Hopefully there's something wrong with this particular item and this doesn't happen with all of them, otherwise they'd be pretty useless.Read full review...

Awesome!

This piece of kit works wonderful on my Shoei Quest helmet! The adhesive strip that holds to the helmet is intensely sticky, yet is removeable and repositionable. I have no doubt it will stay place for a long time. Cuts down on the airflow going out the bottom of the home however cracking the visor open a bit more solves that problem.

Best thing is it seals around my neck wonderfully and cuts down on wind buffeting coming up under the edges of the helmet. I don't need to put my ear plugs in as tight, air noise is less, it is smoother and consistent as opposed to buffeting and loud especially in crosswinds and headwinds.

I look forward to using this during the upcoming riding season. I am ordering another one to have on hand and use as a door prize for a motorcycle rally I am hosting this summer.

I highly recommend this product. The only thing I could see is different size necks and helmet openings may affect how it ultimately works. For my Shoei Quest it it is an absolute winner!

Very smart looking and does the job 👌

Bought a helmet with not chin wind deflector, it was very windy and noisy, this Pro Line makes a big difference, with a small hole hole punch ive fit my headset nicely. It keeps alot of noise and wind out and also little better in lower temperatures due to the reduce neck space.
Its better than waterproof lining, its made of a wet suit material which is breatherble, easy drying and stretchy.
Highly recommended for those cheaper helmet, think of it as a upgrade, also looks very smart.

Does not make any difference. ..

Does not make any difference for wind noise. I have to open my visor more often to get some fresh air. After a week it's started to disintegrate at rear.
If you want to waste 12 something pounds get one you not going to get anymore riding comfort with it.Read full review...
