A good choice for lovers of crime mysteries, or for Ray Milland fans.
This is not a "review", just my opinion on this movie. It is about the savage killing of a girl, and the investigation carried out by the official police,on one hand, and a retired detective, Ray Milland,on the other, who was the one that finally solved the mystery. Ray Milland was the reason I saw this movie, and I was not disappointed. He was brilliant in his interpretation, in fact he is the biggest asset of this movie. The actress who plays the girl was also very good, and extremely beautiful. The film was very realistic, and I was shocked to see how this girl was exploited by men, even by the one he said he loved her.Read full review...
The Pyjama Girl Case A Must Get
I purchased The Pyjama Girl Case because this a great giallo film that has never received very much attention at all, but makes a great addition to any Italian horror/giallo fan's DVD collection.
<br>For such an old unknown film this is a fairly impressive DVD release, with good picture quality and a fascinating doco in the special features about the real life pyjama girl case. The only minor problems I had were there are only two special features (a doco and original theatrical trailer), and this is the dubbed into English version, not the original Italian language version.
If you are a fan of giallo movies (or even a fan of Australian movies)this DVD a must-have you will be sure to enjoy.Read full review...
