Good quality and value for money
The actual quality of the item is good, it did benefit from just a drop of oil on the pivot. They are good castings and although polished, did not suffer from over polishing, the corners were not sharp, or rounded off. The one criticism was the (free) screws, (steel brass plated with some type of Pozi Drive head). The screw heads were so badly formed that no screwdriver would fit. Best get some raised c'sk brass ones and do the job right. The price is good and delivery also good. Other than this I will keep on buying them, as I continue restoring the rest of my sash windows.Read full review...

Good looking and robust
A handsome strong catch .
The only slight initial concern was that the male component has a strong spring which raps against the window pane when you release the catch .
So care is needed
