Simply the best there is!

After extensive research looking for a top quality quilt to use on my new bed, I stumbled across Supreme Quilts and was pleasantly surprised they were in Australia. Unsure what was the best type of down or style for that matter, I dug deeper in researching their products and found that the Siberian Snow Goose Down was far superior than the Polish and Hungarian so that solved that problem. My next problem became what style, channeled or boxed? I came across a page on their website with the exact break down of both I needed to hear and the company itself even recommends the channeled version of their quilts. See what people fail to realise is that the down can still work it's way out of the boxed squares and once it has there is absolutely no way of getting it back in them as they have a 5cm gap between squares, hence making the channeled so much more durable as you can manually manipulate the down by simply shaking, rotating or pushing the down in place. If you are stuck like I was between two styles, go with the channeled as it will not only serve you better, but you'll never have to worry about not being able to get your filling back in place.Read full review...

Super Duper Duvet

I do not normally purchase anything without seeing and feeling it first. But I did a lot of research homework on duvets. I chose Superior Quilts because they gave a very detailed description of their products and they offered a variety of fillings and a choice of channels or boxes. I was also very conscious of how ethical they were in the sourcing of feathers.
I purchased 2 x queen size 90% hungarian goose down 10% goose feather with channels.
I was so impressed I rang the company direct and purchased a 3rd duvet.
The quality is superb. Well made and exactly as per the description. Shane was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I will never buy Downia again.

Perfect Doona

The doona is well designed and generous size, we got QB size and it is perfect. It is very light, as you'd expect and provides perfect warmth under cover, during the coldest of nights. You don't get sweaty, you don't get cold, it doesn't roll with you. This is genuine product of high quality, even came with filling certification from Europe. Lightweight, soft and snuggly.

Surprisingly warm yet it also breathes

It's a lovely quilt which retains warmth yet minimises overheating. My previous down quilt was of a lesser quality and I had a huge problem with overheating. The only solution was to shake most of the down to one side, adjust my position on the bed according to how warm I needed to be and move regularly throughout the night.

This quilt is a superior product filled with first rate down and I've had no problems so far. Value is first rate too. I paid the same for my old quilt from a store thirty years ago and it's only 80% down. This one is 95%.

I would suggest any purchaser go for the best 800+ fill. It's a minimal extra impost and, like a good bed, you'll enjoy it for many years. I believe the Siberian goose is superior to the Polish goose down however the gain is minimal for double the price and any goose down above 800 fill strength is very good anyway.

The only real step above that is Eiderdown and it's prohibitively expensive though I'm sure Supreme Quilts would be prepared to make you one if you were prepared to pay for it. They're very good to talk to and extremely obliging. Read full review...

Like sleeping under a cloud

I love this duvet. I had read only great reviews about this company and I love the fact that the duvets are made here in Australia. As we have an American king size bed I was looking for a super king duvet and I ended up purchasing the 90% Polish goose down, 6 blanket, 800gm fill.

Reading the description and difference that sets this duvet apart from cheap foreign duvets I took the plunge and wow, what a great duvet. It is so soft and warm and really lightweight. It has been really cold here in Melbourne this winter and this duvet has been bliss, no cold spots and no down/feather moving around to the bottom.

Also, I aired it out for a day outside and had it on our bed that night.

This topper is of luxury quality. I have looked at a lot of toppers and none are made to this high standard.
