RIDGID 28533 Heavy Duty Variable Speed Belt Sander

AWESOMENESS!

The grip is comfortable and it's super easy to change the belts too. The variable speed range is GREAT as it can be used at a slower speed so that it doesn't heat up the finish being removed which just gums up the belts. It also has the faster speeds so that when it's time to do some heavy sanding this thing is up to the task. The air guard works ok but in my opinion, it's a bit overhyped, it's a sander and will still make a mess lol.....

You take a chance

The item was sold as broken for repair as is so that being said. I have purchased quite a few tools like this,including power tools as well as air nail guns. You win a few and loose a few.At this time I have had no luck in this sanders repair parts can be hard to find ,or the parts can cost more than the item new. I have purchased 3 items from this seller 1 item I fixed 1 item parts not available and this sander is up in the air at this time. I know I take a chance and I'm alright with that its a hobby to me. All tool companies are building things cheaper,and cheaper most tools I get are a year old or less and have failed because of cheap parts and poor construction.
