I wasn't expecting too much when purchasing a mig under $800.
For a home handy man doing an odd welding job ever so often this item is ideal.
Upon first set up mine had a gas leak from the hand set, but as I am a tradesman it was no issue to disassemble the gun and fix the hose. It had split at the fitting. Note the gas switch mechanism does not hold pressure fully so the bottle has to be turned off immediatelt after use.
Positives, it has a cooling fan, metal guide tube into the wire feed, easy change feed roller. When welding it has good current in all settings and strong wire feed motor.
I will be modifying the machine to take a binzel gun and a solenoid gas valve.

Useless manual (online PDF only) - Bad quality control

Took delivery of the little welder (I have used commercial mig welders before) For the money seemed OK. But wait! what's this !? A cable hanging out the bottom of the case. (Case had been screwed down almost damaging the cable - for the fan - easily fixed)
The online PDF manual is useless. It says the '1-2' switch is...the 1-2 switch!! WTF??? And the Hi - lo switch is ..yes you guessed it, the Hi - Lo switch!! No description of the actual function of the switches - The feed speed is obvious.

The online store has no consumables and although they are easy to find on eBay - Somewhat disappointing
The manual covers every TIG-MIG-INVERTER and PLASMA unit made by Rossi with absolutely no derail!

An answer and my feedback are pending while I wait for a reply from the seller (Edisons) Hopefully I will het some results worth posting - You get what you pay for despite the great speel on their eBay store. Fantastic value for money light duty MIG Welder.

First tests are very positive, it puts down a good weld in gas-less form. Supplied accessories are not great, so figure in buying a decent welding mask, gloves, and a roll of wire. Great Little Machine

This Mig has great control.
The wire feed is smooth and precise.
It works well in gasless mode by swapping over the polarity.
Nice neat compact welder.
All I have to do is become a better welder. I cant blame the machine any more

Absolute excellent welder , have been using this every weekend for the past month for hours on end. Works extremely well with both gas/gasless function only issue I've found with the machine is there's no gas shut off valve in the machine so if you forget to turn your gas off between uses or over night it drains pretty quickly . Its a great machine BUT, the manual doesn't explain what dials do what, there is a min/max switch (no explanation), 1/2 switch (no explanation) only one I think is right is the dial for speed of wire, if someone could inform me what the switches are for that would be great
