Life-Changing

You think you're good with God, and then you read this. There's so much more to the Christian faith than what we've bought into believing. I still haven't finished (I'm on chapter five), but so far, it's changed my outlook on life, my actions, and my thoughts. It's extremely convicting as well. Jesus hasn't called us to the comfortable life we're all living, and I've seen this to be true in my life.

A must read for any serious follower of Christ!

This book is a "must read" for every serious disciple of Christ. The Lord used it to change my mind, my outlook, my heart and my life in making me a more dedicated follower of Christ. After a friend and I shared reading just the first two chapters, we decided to approach our small group and use it as our next focus of study. To be honest, when I first started reading this book, I was scared. The title alone was enough to feel conviction before I even read one word. Platt does a good job of bringing the American dream and the prolific focus of materialism and hedonism into question when compared to the call of Christ to go to all nations as the Bible declares. He is very adamant about getting his point across, but gives a good perspective that holds a lot of truth which would be hard to refute.
