Polo Green “lite” ???

I have worn this for years and always gotten so many compliments. It seems like Ralph and his people have “toned it down” (watered it down??). This bottle doesn’t seem to have the same strength or staying power. Same fragrance just not as powerful or long lasting. Oh well….seems like that’s the name of the game these days. Give less. Ralph Lauren's Iconic Fragrance Masterpiece

What more can possibly be said about one of fragrance's most talked about and reviewed scents? By now, everybody knows what Polo is all about, what it smells like and what it represents. And the fact that it's not the same potency as when it first came on the scene back in the '70's. Nevertheless, this "tester" bottle I purchased is an attractively priced example of how to buy Polo without paying department store prices...though many originally high-priced juices come down in price as time goes on, Polo continues to be an expensive EDT when purchased through traditional retail outlets. But when bought as a "tester" bottle on eBay, I found it to be a more reasonable purchase for the exact same product that you find in stores. Read full review...

Long Lasting original fresh scent. The real deal.

This is the real deal. I used to wear this cologne about 25 + years ago and it smells exactly the same. Very strong so only maybe half spray is suffice. A good tip is to spray on clothing or you will get different rose smelling scents when the cologne mixes with skin oils/sweat. Only confusing piece of this was the DHL shipping. It kept showing as "arrived" but was never received until 4 days later. Make sure you do bottle comparisons, made in *** comparisons, spray nozzle comparisons to fraud links that may be found online. I was glad to have receive the real product. Easy test is to spray on a part of a pant in morning and come back later in afternoon or even next day; It should smell exactly the same and should also be strong. Great product!Read full review...

Not very strong scent with this bottle

Since this is no longer an official Ralph Lauren offered product for many years now, I find that from purchase to purchase (have used this for over 40 years continuously) the scent and longevity of same varies each time. In this particular purchase, the scent is VERY weak and smells mostly of the alcohol content and does not linger long. I assume that the variability represents the manufacturer of each bottle bought. As far as I can tell, the consumer has no means of identifying the good from the not-so-good so I just roll with what arrives in the mailbox each time I order.
