Almost, but not quite right.

A good looking, seemingly well built filter that, unfortunately, cannot be used as an alternate to the properly sized K&N RC-0984--without the not-recommended use of a sealant, or modifications.
The RAMAIR 55mm internal neck diameter is spec'd at 1mm wider than the K&N, however, is too wide for the popular Mikuni RS Series Radial Flat Slide Carburetors--and their 52mm offering is too narrow.
A careful application of self-fusing silicone "cold shrink" tape around the carburetor intake could be used as a shim, or, even better, large diameter adhesive lined heat shrink tubing.
Why RAMAIR did not correctly size their product to begin with is difficult to understand as anything other than a careless oversight.Read full review...
