Great album from the MASTERS of ambient electronic music.
Tangerine Dream Have been producing quality output for decades, but with the sad passing of their leading light, Edgar Froese, several years back, most fans thought that would be the end of a glorious career. However, Edgars himself appointed Thorsten Quensching leader of the group after he knew he was termional, and Thorsten has definately been up to the task, producing eight (Yes Eight!) full length albums so far. This number includes the Six "Sessions" CDs, which are Concert and Studio "Live" recordings. "Raum", which translates as "Space", is no exception to the quality we have come to expect from them. Every track has it's highlights, and the overall impression is of a seasoned, professional group of highly talented musicians at the top of their game. Tyhis should definately please the fans, as it is one which has been played countless times since I purchased it (and I am very particular as to what I listen to).
So in conclusion - Buy it, and you will not regret it!Read full review...
