I beat the system with this battery

I followed the video instructions provided by this vendor to replace the unreplaceable battery on my Braun Oral B Pro Care 1,000 electric toothbrush. The instructions were essential in showing me how to replace the battery. I was particularly pleased that I could cut out some plastic pieces in the battery holder and fit in this longer and thus more powerful battery. My tooth brush runs like a weed eater now, and I am not forced to buy a whole new toothbrush.Read full review...

Good product and upgrade

Bought this product after seeing a video on youtube by the seller on how to replace the battery. The toothbrush is working well with increased periods between charges, it is a GP manufactered cell so would expect it to be of good quality.
The battery replacement does require a reasonable knowledge on how to solder, but with care it can be done ok after watching the video a few times.
I purchased the larger capacity cell, which also helps to increase useage between charges.

Watch the video for straightforward battery change.

Having watched this company's video on youtube on how to change the battery I bought one. I followed the instructions in the video and now have a better than new toothbrush. The replacement is bigger and holds more charge than the original. The video shows how to adapt the brush for the larger battery.
Do note carefully the polarity of the batery as you remove the old one and put the new one in the same way round. It is not made clear in the video and there is a misleading marking on the circuit board.
The whole job is straightforward, just fiddly due to the rubbish design of the toothbrush. The battery, the only part likely to need replacing, is buried right in the middle of the brush.

Brings a new lease of life to my toothbrush

After fitting this battery my toothbrush now easily runs for more than a week between charges, with two cleans a day. Well worth replacing the battery as a new toothbrush would have cost about £50. Great value for money. So as long as you can use a soldering iron this is a very worthwhile replacement battery.Read full review...

Oral-b 3000 battery replace

I used this to replace my oral-b battery as per you tube video. The tabs are too wide and need to be modified other than that excellent. The brush lasts 64 minutes to red light with no drop in speed and another 24 mins to complete discharge total 88 mins. Very happy good purchase arrived a day earlier than specified.Read full review...

Replacement battery for toothbrush

Never thought of replacing an electric toothbrush battery before, just used to buy a new toothbrush. By following the video it was very easy to replace. Now it runs like a new one again, at a fraction of the cost!Read full review...

Good value

Longer than the original so needed to cut a small piece of plastic from the battery compartment but as this battery is of higher capacity it's worth while. You'll need to watch the video so that you can see how to take the toothbrush apart, but it's quite straight forward - need a soldering iron, solder sucker or wick and some solder and pliers.Read full review...

Replacement toothbrush battery

Now, I can't really tell you much about this battery, other than it is sized as described and has long connection tags, because after I removed the old one and connected this one up, the toothbrush never worked again.

I think I may have overheated a component nearby when removing the original battery and PCB, unfortunately, so it was a bit of a wasted effort and I don't know enough about electronics to fault-find the circuit. I will try and remove the battery and keep it in case I can use it on something else, but that's it - had to buy a new toothbrush!

Good Quality NiMH Battery

Upgraded an Oral B 3000 toothbrush whose battery was barely up to two uses before needing another charge. Fitting a new battery is not for the faint-hearted because Braun would clearly rather you buy a new toothbrush than extend the life of the old one. However an electronics hobbyist should have little trouble. Set aside an hour or two to do it. Cutting out the plastic fins in the battery holder is well worth doing to accommodate this larger battery.

This is the second one of these I've done.

Gave new life to my shaver with a little creative adjustment.

Although for an electric toothbrush. I decided by folding the metal connections over to face the direction I needed I could couple 2 batteries together to fit inside my ageing shaver. The original batteries were 1600mA, so at 2200mA These are a huge improvement. Worked perfectly. Would recommend.Read full review...
