Would not recommend this gate for large openings

Ordered this gate because I had a 48 in opening and this was a 49 inch gate. When extended to fill the 48 inch opening the gate was very weak, bowed and unsafe for little ones who pull themselves up.

I have the white version of this gate. It has worked well over time. The gate comes with pressure mounts as well as wall mounts if you prefer this. We simply use the wall mounts.
