hardest fit and vague instructions.

no glue on 80% but when you try to snap together, tabs break off. terrible instructions, Multilanguage and don't make steps clear. parts on frames not listed in instructions. I will make an engine though so it has value. its like a jigsaw puzzle with no picture to go by so if you model without using instruction and can adapt broken parts its entertaining.Read full review...

Big Boy

Quite unclear when attaching front main wheel truck to engine. Decals ok, but some are too small to be of much use. Otherwise, excellent. Parts fit perfectly

Revells 1/87 Big Boy better than expected for a vintage kit!

Vintage tooling of a classic locomotive. Revell releases this kit time to time and had to source mine from England. Its not a easy build and wouldn't recommend it for beginners due to the complex wheel and steam piston linkages. With some work removing dated and poorly molded details it can be brought to a higher standard of a scale miniature. Out-of-the-box it builds into a interesting model.Read full review...
