Very sturdy, and well constructed!

It really worked well for how I'm using it, very easy to put together right out of the box. My only con is; it doesn't really fold up. you can easily take the 2 cross bars off to get it flat, but that is not folding. Other than that is works great, and well constructed in material and thought process. Read full review...

A good stand within limits

If you have a mixer or a mixer in a flight case this is a decent stand. If you have something heavier, such as a mixer in a case with additional gear - sucha s a 10U x 4U case, the extra weight can be too much for this unit. This is because there is no lateral support / x brace. I have such a mixer case and when the stand is expanded to just under the width of the case the thing will sway from side to side. It is actually more stable if you keep the stand collapsed to its narrowest width.
If I were the manufacturer I would have had the horizontal braces mount at complementary angles, They would have had to be longer, which would have hiked the price but it would have been well worth it.
Don't try to adjust the width when it is carrying a load. The wing tighteners at the ends can work loose and the support can pop up and out at the wrong moment.
Also note that set up is not as fast as you might think. You have to balance one side piece and one crossbar at the same time, while tightening it down. Unless you have three hands, it needs to be leaned against something while you tighten it.
As for "folding flat", it doesn't fold at all. It breaks down into four pieces. If I were the manufacturer, I would include a cordura wrap-around sleeve with velcro closure to keep the parts together.
For me, the swaying is a disaster waiting to happen. I'm trying to figure out a way to add lateral support while still being able to break it down for easy transport. My final assessment is that this is a great solution for mixers weighing 30 pounds or less. Do not put anything heavy on this, particularly when spread wide, for if it were to sway too much it could collapse and take your gear with it.

Could be a Great Rack but has some manufacturing problems in the locking system.

Note: There are some problems with the turn lock knobs easily stripping in the frame from bad sockets and/or bad locking nuts. I had to go buy a hardware to fix the bad sockets. Other than that, a great idea and a good rack: The manufacture needs to beef up the locking systems or check quality control more.Read full review...

Great Value , strong and adjustable

Exactly what I needed in my smaller studio space . It adjusts so I can use it for my 16 channel powered mixer in the rehearsal room or my smaller mixer on the road . It was easy to put together and is very strong and solid Read full review...

Worst stand ever

I bought this hoping for a nice stand to rest a rack case on. The legs are 2 single pieces held together by 2 arms that attach to the legs. The attachment points on the legs were welded incorrectly at different heights and therefore causes the whole thing to lean. After trying to tighten the arms, one of them stripped so now it's a pile of junk. Do not buy this! My only hope is to weld some flat steel in place of the crappy arms and make this thing solid.Read full review...

Not only for mixers!

I originally bought this item for a mixer. But since I own a could of drum machines, I find this stand the perfect fit to use it for them as well. Nice, well finished and sturdy. What more can I say?

Truly a Remarkable Piece of Pro Gear

This is really a remarkable piece of gear, and at a great price point, you just can't go wrong. It will hold just about anything you want, and is very flexible in regards to size limitations.

I am literally using it backwards so I can have my Yamaha Motif Rack XS at an angle and height so I can read the LED readout easily, and this is perfect for the job.

Thanks for a great product.
