SR-JV80-05 World Expansion Board
I am a big fan of the Roland JV series of synthesizers, I have owned several JV 1010's, 1080's and 2080's. I still use a JV-2080 and a JV1010 regularly in my recording studio and on location recording jobs. The SR-JV80 cards allow you to expand your JV synth with a further 256 voices (for most cards) and there are 19 'regular' expansion cards and 3 'Experience' cards that were never sold directly to the public. The "World" card is number 5 in the list of regular series of expansion cards and presents a wide variety of world instrument sounds from African rhythm sounds, to thumb chimes to Japanese Koto, bagpipes, a beautiful patch called "Passage2India", and so many more - even a rain stick! There are 256 patches and a load of multi patches as well. Roland has always been a 'go to' for recording artists, engineers and filmakers. The Roland JV-1080 scored more films than any other synth.
