Brand new Roland VR-09 Combo Organ. My favorite keyboard.

I received this a few months ago. It was packaged perfectly in the factory box. Started playing it immediately. Great voices and includes 9 drawbars which my new Kurzweil PC3 (76 key) and my Nord 4D (61 key) both have. When I do play on stage with our band, I generally use piano and organ sounds only. They are both great sounds. The organ (many different sounds) has a great Leslie rotater type sound and easy to trigger the slow and fast cycle. It amazed me how good it does. I wish I would have had this when our band recorded our 3rd C/D at the studio we record at. I have had over 9 keyboards at once (also including Korg, Yamaha, other Rolands, some basic and some pro type keyboards. I now will sell my Kurzweil PC3 and use this VR-09 to gig with and to record our next C/D if that happens again. I find more and more great features as I use this keyboard. I did buy a new SKB 61 key hard case that fits perfectly and protects this $1K keyboard. Very satisfied again with Roland.Read full review

This piano is the piano you want, if you want a light, simple, excellent keyboard that can emulate the B3 very well.

Lightweight portable keyboard with features of high end models

I have played stage keyboards costing 2x as much and weighing 4x. The Roland VR09 matches or exceeds these in features and sound.

Just what I expected

If you are looking for a lightweight 61 not keyboard with an awesome tonewheel (Hammond) emulation along with a large selection of acoustic and electric piano emulations and of course a plethora of synth sounds, this fits the bill. The Leslis speaker emulation with in the organ section is highly configurable and very accurate replication of the rotary speaker effect.Read full review

Roland keyboard

Love the organ sound and ease in changing sounds. The light weight is also an asset to carrying it to gigs.

As Advertised

This keyboard is for gigging. I needed a second board for organ sounds and synth for shows. Works as advertised and you can change quickly from synth, piano, and organ.
