Cars Nostalgia
I first heard this album one summer when the sun used to shine, worries were where the next party was and having a perm was desirable. The tape never left my ghetto blaster. Then tastes and lives change. Now 20 years on I heard by chance 'Just What I Needed' and thought I should listen to the album again. This is The Cars at their very best, forget the dirge that is 'Drive' this is a debut album that I consider a classic. There are no duff tracks and it builds to end on a wonderful 'All Mixed Up'. Want some proper job rock music with lyrics to match? Buy this album but maybe forget the perm.Read full review...
the great cars
Being a 69 year old rocker, when i saw this for sale i remembered how good this was in Lp form, many hours of party's being electrified by this record. During a particular good listening session an accident accured on one side of the album and there was a great scratch that did not agree with the record stylus, I looked forward to and was not disappointed a fine record with a good pedigree.Read full review...

Great item...The last time i had this album was back in the 80s on tape cassette...Great driving music,Fab to hear it again nice and loud on my car sound system.
