One of the best movies about jazz ever made!
One of the best movies in our collection! If you love jazz, you MUST have this in your library!
Round Midnight
Watch this film to see Dexter Gordon's oscar-nominated performance. He captures the expatriate experience of Lester Young and Bud Powell. Also, the rendition of the title track is memorable, with two bass players, one of whom is Ron Carter. Finally, enjoy the jazz musicians: Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Cedar Walton and others. You will find this film an unexpected pleasure.Read full review...
