Happy Trails all over again!

Reliving your childhood is terrific when it includes gems like this. Roy is tall and handsome in his flashy outfits and astride that great horse Trigger while chasing down the bad guys and making jokes with his sidekicks. Dale is the epitomy of the independent woman - running a business, wearing and occasionally using her own gun, and wise cracking to the bad guys with a spunky attitude worthy of any feminist. The comedic sidekick is always funny and the reason for most of the comedy is a car he ties to treat just like a horse. For those of us old enough it is a gleeful trip down memory lane and for those of the younger generation it is a joyful look at how things used to be.Read full review...

Today there is not a good family film. Roy Rogers and Dave Evans produced a moral plot of excitement and adventure. There programs had humor, suspense, but the person doing right always won and crimes were alway punished. Different from Hollywoods thought today.Read full review...
