Complete Verse; some drawbacks w/cover

We love Kipling! This book has his complete verse. The pages are aged but otherwise in excellent condition with a sturdy binding. This edition (c 1940) supplies an index in the front and an index to first lines in the back. We gave 4 stars instead of 5 because we didn't like the design of the hardback cover. The light green spine is marked with a library number and old glue. The front and back covers are light green with a darker green, brown, and gold cobblestone pattern overall. The title and author appear only on the spine. There are library stickers, stamping, markings, or a pocket on the inside back cover and front and back pages. We are keeping the book and are in the process of cleaning it up. Overall, we are very satisfied to have this wonderful verse in our collection.Read full review...
