Don't worry about the first 30 secs as the sound is all over the place and you think you've bought a dud! After that it is clean, clear and dynamic. If you're paying about £3 for this 2CD it is an absolute bargain. Exceptional playing by all those involved.Read full review...

I bought this as I think it is the only representation of this particular Blakey group (.that I have found.)
The band is tight and full of fire that we expect from Blakey , unfortunately the first CD is spoilt by continuous
tape waver that constantly alters the pitch of Blakey's cymbals and overall drum tone..
The second CD is fine so just be aware of the sound issues on disc 1Read full review...
