Easy to setup and use
Got this to replace an old Singer that was broken. This is so simple to setup and use that I think almost anyone can sew with it. I was expecting a heavier machine but it seems well built. Have done a few alterations with it but hope to do much more sewing with it. Read full review...

singermodel 4411
i was disappointed.. difficult to insert thread into the needle, foot pedal cable too short for my counter, no way to adjust speed except for the pedal, no way to adjust the needle to be inserted to hold fabric except by hand rotating the dial, no way to start stop by push button, button hole not automatic. Motor not strong enough to penatrate leather without hand starting. compared to my 12 year old kenmore.
Yes, I know all of those features were available for a few hundred dollars extra.. ... what the new 4411// did not know it was made in china which explains it all.
I would not recommend this unit. I am R.S. Fruda. Read full review...

Stitches leather
I replaced my Brother EM-2200 with this machine. I was surprised to see how nearly identical they were. This machines loads the bobbin in a simpler fashion and is heavier duty in the needle area. I tested it on 1/8" thickness of leather and it did just fine. I would expect pros would want something a little faster. I think my Brother was faster.Read full review...

Nice little machine.
The first thing I did was to sew through 6 layers of waterproof Army canvas. Worked like a dream. I was surprised how 'cheap' the foot or feet look that come with the machine but for that price I should not be surprised. I have enough really heavy duty feet I can use with it. But it did like it said and sliced right through the heavy stuff. That's all I ask. Read full review...

I love my Singer
It is fairly easy to use. It works awesome on leather and denim unlike my previous machine that would not. Great deal would buy again!

Great machine
I make purses and other items requiring heavy duty linings. This machine has made it so much easier and neater. I would recommend this machine to anyone.

This sewing machine is excellent, but I am just learning to use it, so it will take a while before I can fully recommend it. I like it so far though!
