Item looks like a real Sony upon first look. However although it plays okay it does not have the same action as a real Sony and after speaking with Sony us and showing them the sticker on the back was informed that this was not an actual OEM Sony product. First when it comes to PS3 controllers it has to be original genuine or factory re-certified although you can buy 2nd generic manufactured PS3 controls you will find that are often not calibrated correctly over sensitive or under sensitive aim buttons or others .... So buy genuine only

I chose to buy a used controller here on Ebay because after a year my original controller died suddenly Really... a adult owed never drop or abused poof dead it lasted a year ..i made the mistake of buying a generic control and could not kill one enemy with it because the aim would jump from left to right no smooth transition ... i'm buying used because the cost of new PS3 controllers need to come down with the new PS4 being out i'm buying this control which will be the last one ..Because i'm buying a NEW Sony PS4 & battlefield 4 today or tomorrow ..but i'm going to keep my more then capable PS3 active in my opinion the SONY Playstation 3 will be used for years to come because they do everything Netflix online search & games all free networkingRead full review...
