Slow and unreliable.

Very slow, nowhere near as fast as true Solid State Drives. Also ran Seagate's "Sea Tools" utility on the drive and it reported it as failing, so I've removed it from my system.

IT's a SSHD NOT a SSD

This drive uses software to figure out what files you use most often and stores those in the flash memory. The remainder go on the mechanical HD.

If you want a 1TB SSD, this is not your drive. If you want a storage drive, this is not your drive. If you already have your pc running off a small SSD and have run out of space, you can install all your games on this drive, it will cut down the loading times after several plays and still leave you plenty of space for your iTunes's library and photos. FFS, of course it isn't as fast as a SSD, and it didn't cost you as much as one either.

I have 2, they load all the thumbnails auto instantly so I never have any lag searching through my image library. The actual images aren't in the SSD part of the drive, they simply don't need to be.
