STIHL 41404001308 Ignition Coil for FC55/FS38/FS45/FS46/HL45

Product DOES NOT WORK for certain models of Stihl equipment.

Product aligns well and fits perfectly with plenty of spark. I have a Stihl mod# FS55 line trimmer. This coil WILL NOT work on this machine. Trimmer will not start, just backfire through carb. Did further research, found Stihl OEM ignition module has a timing advance built into their modules. Replaced with Stihl OEM coil, trimmer fired up on first pull and runs perfectly.Read full review
