Good features & value but remember it is no Blackberry

I lik QWERTY phones but have never had a Samsung so thought I would give it a try. The best summary I could give it is "good value for a budget phone" - it is no Blackberry or even Nokia E series. That said, it is easy to use, the battery life is good, it is lightweight & feels good (nice quality) in the hand. These features probably would endear it to someone going for their 1st QWERTY (maybe a text mad teenager?). The email & web on it work quite well - just a shame it is not 3G to get some speed into it. I found the optical trackpad a bit sensitive & it was hard to adjust out but to be fair, I do prefer the Nokia approach where you just click one step at a time so it could just be me.
If you want a QWERTY under £100 - or less - give it a go. it will not disappoint for the money.Read full review...

I would recommend the phone,but not at the price I paid....go to Tesco's!

The phone itself is quite good and no complaints up to yet. It was originally a Tesco phone, which had been unlocked and from memory I paid around £68 for it. You can imagine my surprise, when a few days after I received it, I went into Tesco's in Hereford and found an identical phone (in pink actually which was the colour I wanted for my partner)for £47. An unlock is £5, so you can see that this was rather expensive. I will be more careful next timeRead full review...

under-rated little diamond from Samsung

A user friendly phone with all of the bells and whistles you need if you don't want to go really hi tech and don't want to be classed as one of "the herd" who are never seen without their iphone.
It has the convenience of a qwerty keyboard as well as a touch screen and is very easy to set up and to use. Bit like a Blackberry but a Blackberry with this spec would probably cost around £70 more.

Did just the job. Great alternative to the expensive blackberry!

Before this phone I had a small touchscreen one which i really hated using it to text because it was so slow so I decided to buy a phone with a qwerty keypad. I didn't really need anything expensive like a blackberry so I went for this phone and it did just the job perfectly! Overall a good phone at a great price

Like all new phones this phone takes a little getting used to.But once you get used to it,it's as good as any other phone out there on the market today. This phone was originally bought because it was a good cheap price. But don't let the low price put you off. It's a low price phone with big price workings. Affordably good technology
