Mr Tell It Like It Is

The product arrived and it looks brand new. I was able to turn it on and get my phone set up and get my phone setup until I did the most current update and that locked up my phone to the point where and then locked up my phone to the point where I cannot turn on my phone, as soon as I insert the charger the charging symbol comes on and stays on and does not charge the battery at all. So when I'm going to have to do is take it to a local Samsung so what I'm going to have to do is take it to a local Samsung satellite store and ask if they can hard unlock my phone.

Fulfills its intended purpose well

I bought this instead of a standard smartphone to try a device that was something close to a tablet. I think the device works well, and I have found good application for the screen size and format. The device extends the use I would normally have for a cell phone by allowing better editing and composition, as well as note taking. This will encourage me t move towards a tablet.

Start doing some sort of crazy stuff

I got it so I did not have to get a Sims card I was just going to use it for Wi-Fi and it keeps saying that my wi-fi is saved and secured and will not connect but every once in a while even if I'm right beside the Wi-Fi router so I had to go back to my s4 to get my email and do this but it was working good for the first few weeks just started to messed up last Wednesday and I've looked up on Google to see what is going on and it is saying that I need to get a Sims card to get it to work but if that was true why did it work up til just last week and start it just doesn't make sense to me if you can help me with this I will give a 5 stars and a new review up till it stopped working it was goodRead full review...

BEST phone out there, one of the most powerful devices

as a owner of many samsung products, including the s vibrant, s3, note n7000 and now the n7100(have also used iphone 3gs, 4, 4s, and 5) i can say i have had no issues with them. and compared to the apple products it is more intuitive. apple is easier to use(for most people) but androids are more powerful and customizable. ive owned the note 1 for 6 months and could not stop raving about how great it was. the only thing, and most common fault i hear people say is the size. i see it as an advantage. if you want a small phone then go get one, this isnt it.(in a few years all the phones will be much bigger than they are now) you can see the trend already happening. they will no longer be phones with tablet capabilities but tablets with calling capabilities. with that being said. this phone is excellent! even better than the first. the lower resolution 1280x720 compared to the note1's 1280x800 does not affect the quality, somehow they have managed to make it better this is because of the type of pixel matrix they switched to. the phone has many features that are an improvement. like the multiwindow, improved s pen, not to mention the 1.6GHz quadcore processor(this is more powerful than most tablets) compare that to the ipads which run at 1.0GHz and the ipad4 and iphone5 which run at 1.2GHz. it also has a massive 2GB RAM, compared to the iphone5's 1GB RAM. with an 8MP rear and 1.9MP front pictures are excellent. i like the fast and slow motion recording capabilities of this phone. other specs such as 1080p video at 30fps, external memory(actually up to 64GB on top of the 16GB already in the phone, thats 80GB, more than the first PS3!) as for battery life it has one of the longest battery lives out there. with a 3100mAh battery you could talk on the phone for 35hrs straight!!! with gaming and web browsing this phones battery still lasts me all day! there is just too many features to list. if you are looking for a powerful tablet device with calling capabilities and dont want to do all that stuff while staring at the iphones microscopic screen, then the NOTE2 is definitely for you. dont be scared of the size, you will get use to it within a matter of days if not hours. its not too big, other phones are just too small.Read full review...

The Best Phone since sliced bread, great stuff!!, Samsung Rules O.K.

This is the best phone, it also a tablet as well, often known as a phalet. It has a great size, a lot of useful apps, even samsung have their own store.

Great operating system, I love the camera, the quality is fantastic.

Other great feature is the S pen, the battery life is fine, the ease of use of this phone is easy, and with the help of the S pen it makes typing mush easier and faster.

Great phone

This phone is really great, not the best battery but the extended batteries are good - especially the zerolemon brand - the default battery is awful if you use your phone a lot. For $169 this is a great price for a a brand new unlocked Note 2. Be careful though if you use it for a lot of things you will outgrow this phone very quickly, I had emulators, movies, flash player and all sorts of things on it and it really started showing its age, not I use it for simple things which it is amazing for - like web browsing, using eBay/bank apps/YouTube. Great buy.

This phone is superb and just by fetching the thing out of my pocket at work I have managed to sway many of my colleagues in favor of Samsung for their next cell phone up-date. It seems every every one wants a piece of the action.

The product when examined by people seems to sell its self. Yes the screen is big but when you read your Kindle App ebook on that screen, see the net pages flow on it and appreciate the GPS navigation maps scrolling across it, then you forget all worries about the size of it. In fact you realise that you need that screen and nothing smaller will do.

It is fast, my goodness me it is fast. Fast to open web pages, fast to react to apps, games, video etc. Fast, Powerful, smooth and intuitive. Excellent smartphone. Large, bright display, powerful processor. HD movies as easily visible. I use this smartphone as a navigator in a car DVR. To view videos and reading books on the go, listen to music and audio books, reading emails and tweets. This gadget can be connected via an adapter stick any and all information will be read from it. You can connect it to a monitor and BT keyboard and work with office applications. Without the Internet and load average, I charge lasts about 50-55 hours. Must have phone with big capability

I got Xperia x10 phone with android system, x10 cann't handle so much task n shutdown often. Note II is second android system with alot capability compare with x10. I glad get note II alot fiture on the phone. Big screen, loud speaker, S pen with hand writing recognize, better fiture on camera 8 mp n extended memory. The phone is awesome much much better then fruit brand. Never regret got Note II N7100
