Good Camera for the everyday person who wants more then point and shoot

I bought this camera to get great photos and someday move up to a DSLR. With little understanding of photography but a desire to learn and still get good photos this was my choice. It offers smart mode along with expert settings. Thus shows a good photo then the ability to take the same photo with setting adjustments. You also can use a variety of lenses along with adapters to use lenses from different camera makers. Technology wise it has WiFi along with direct wireless transfer to your smart phone that was very simple to set up. As a nonprofessional it makes it easy to get good photos and the ability to learn as I go. The video is crisp and clean if the camera is steadied and the rear lcd has been visible. The lcd is locked in place and can not be angled that is one thing that would be nice to have. Simply an outstanding camera. Incredible image quality and speed. Takes you to near professional level with its many hands on features. The camera is very intuitive too and can help you along the way. Samsung has emerged as a serious competitor to the established brands. Wifi is second to none and the other brands can't compete. The many filters are outstanding and allow your artistic side to develop. The body is light weight but strong and not heavy like a dslr, but has the near same image quality

There are three modes of control: through the lens, touch screen or mode dial. I go back and forth between all three.

With RAW capability and in camera processing, the NX2000 shines.

Draw back is that in filming, the camera can be heard operating. Also a small draw back is that there is no in body lens stabilization but in the lens. Battery is charged through a cable to the camera, but these are small issues as the camera performs flawlessly.Read full review...
