Samsung BD-J5900 Curved 3D WiFi Blu Ray DVD Player
A bit larger than expected but very nice. Because I operated it min a room away from the screen it plays on, some type of indicator lights would be nice to know that it has accepted my commands. The for some reason it has trouble streaming Prime content, but others (Hulu, etc. do okay).
I had to by a digital to analog converter because my av-receiver does not accept digital out signals and that is your only output other that HDMI.
But, all in all not bad.

Average unit all around for the price but it plays Blu Ray discs respectably well. I've had the unit for 3 months and have used it half a dozen times so far so I can't remark on the longevity. For $75, I really can't complain.

The Player has many functions and capabilities and is a great value. The only fault I could find is that it doesn't have an on/off light or indicator so you can be sure whether it is on or off - hopefully, if I forget to shut it off or if the remote doesn't work at times when trying to shut it off, the player has an automatic feature that will shut itself off after a short period of time - I couldn't find any mention of this in the operation manual.Read full review

Sturdy mount good freq res.
This produce was easy to install.( the mounts are rugged) The freq. response only up to 10khz, but sounds great for announce. These are transformer coupled for 70volt use. The impedance is nominal 8 ohms. I used four of these fed with a Bogen amp and am very satisfied.

Smaller size is nice, easy to set-up and use, when used with Samsung Smart Tv it sees the Blu-Ray Player and changes video source for you when powered up. Have used this for a few days now with DVD and Blu-Ray love the upscaling for DVD`s. Only drawback so far is No power indicator light. If you are not using it can`t tell if it is on or off.

There is no indication of the device turning on which is kind of a bummer. However it does play very nicely with a Samsung T.V. as you can use either of the remotes almost entirely interchangeably to control either device. The setup without using wifi even though wifi was available had me plugging the device into two different screens and a laptop before I was finally presented with the option to set it up without connecting to the wifi so I can see how that causes some issues. It is so small compared to other player,s but it is the best one yet! The picture quality was noticeable right off. It was so easy to set up! I spent a long time comparison shopping and I am really pleased with my purchase. I purchased a 20 inch lan cable so there is no long cords everywhere , it is a great find. I just plugged in the HMDI cable that was previously on the old player , attached the lan cable to my cable box, plugged in the power. And it was good to go! Soo easy !
