Noisy

Drive works great, but is a little noisy. Background hum while it is working. Not a problem if you already have some noisy fans, but if you are looking for a really quiet drive, this isn't it. Not bad enough for me to replace it, but certainly worth mentioning. But the price was fantastic, so how can I complain.Read full review...

Very quiet, great value for money, excellent drive.

A very quiet drive, this is the second time I have bought one and I am very pleased indeed. I have one in my main system as my O/S drive and I have never looked back.

awesome drive very fast and quiet

really easy to set up connected to one of my SATA II ports very fast and quiet performance.

Also connects to older SATA ports I did not need to download the software to slow the drive down to 150 mbps. I will be buying some more of these drivesRead full review...

Nice hard drive that was a good price.

Nice hard drive. A good size and it works fine. My computer tells me that it has 931GB of usable space.

Did the job without any drama.

May not be the fastest drive but was easy to fit and set up. No nasty surprises. Time will tell if this really is a good drive. Looks like a mature product.

Great Iteam - Bargain Price

I basically installed this by myself and it has given my computer a new lease of life, going from 80gb only to 1tb, i can now get music, apps and all sorts now and save them forever!!!

Best SATA II HDD Around

For the amount of money you pay for this Hard drive it is pretty fast, closest you'll get to SDD without actually owning a SDD. A little bit on the noisy side but you'd expect that from the dual 500GB platters spinning away. Would highly reconmend to anyone.Read full review...

Its very good

I have a new desktop and this harddrive is just what I wanted and at the right price. I like this samsung spinpoint F3 1TB 3.5 harddrive
