Does all that I want it to do, all that I expected of my first Smartphone.

This is my first Smartphone, however I have a 4th gen iPod, so I knew roughly what to expect from this Samsung GALAXY Ace GT-S5830 - Onyx black (Unlocked) Smartphone. The display is very sharp and clear, so far I have not encountered any memory problems, some reviews point out that more memory would have been an improvement to this phone. It is easy to use, however I feel that there is room for improvement, Indoors I can use WiFi for browsing the Internet, outdoors I use my O2 PAYG plan, I have a £3 bolt on which gives me all the time I need browsing the Internet outdoors. The Samsung software used to manage the phone when connected to your PC, Samsung Kies, is not that great in my opinion, interaction between computer and phone is very slow, the 2Gb SD card provided with the phone will be adequate for me as I will not be adding to many photos or music files, the max SD card the phone will take is 32Gb.
Earphones are provided for listening to radio and music files, earphones provided with phones and ipod's are always a matter of choice, I find that I always need to purchase earphones that are better and more comfortable than those provided. I find that battery life is good, replacement batteries seem to be reasonably priced for genuine one's on eBay. Wife`s replacement

Got this mobile to replace my wife's old mobile, found it has everything she requires, not being iT
literate she just wanted a simple usable phone, the more she uses this one the more she is finding some of the features very handy, like the memo pad, camera and text service, she is on PAYG. when I asked her if I could borrow the mobile when mine broke I got a flat refusal with orders to "go and get one for myself". Great value for money although not much internal phone memory

Its good value for money, has all the features that I need, and many features that you will find on higher priced phones but for a cheaper price. one big flaw of the phone is the lack of internal storage so you can only download a select amount of apps before the memory is full, and it wont give you an option to save them to sd card instead.Read full review...
