great pic, but thats why I bought it. Works ok but was obviously on for lots and lots of hours, I doubt it has much of a lifespan left. It gives off a bit of old toaster smell. the remote control does not work, I thought it was the battery and insert a new one but still does not work. I need the solution to this problem as soon, I need a good control and I command them that bad control.

4K Blu-ray Player
The picture is the best I have seen in my apartment. Since I do not have a 4K TV yet nor a 4K Blu-ray disc I have not been able to check it thoroughly. It is easy to operate but I miis one control that I do not find on it -- that is the fast forward within chapters. 'Better Than Expected!'
A fantastic product. Even my '40's black and white movies look like they were shot yesterday. Astounding up-scaling - better than a Blu-Ray disc. I replaced a SONY that was their top-of-the-line - and frankly, there's no comparison. The SONY remote is maddening. The buttons are way too small and the deck keeps trying to do what it thinks best, turning off by itself when I want it to hold a position until I get back to it. The Samsung goes to screen-saver mode and stays on until I tell it to do something else.
The Samsung has 3-D buttons I can feel without looking. Having just installed the top-of-the-line Sansung curved screen, the deck matches the style - and performance of the screen. This is a no-brainer. The price was awesome and I can't find anything wrong with this deck. Totally intuitive, the Samsung out-performs, out-thinks and out-wits the SONY hands-down. An excellent piece!
