Dead on Arrival
DOA. This drive never worked. It brings up a message in windows saying that it malfunctioned every time it is plugged in, and it doesn't work on macOS either. I looked in disk utility and windows partition manager (on 4 different computers) but the drive has never worked. The only sign of life is a slow-blinking LED. Would NOT buy again. These are the perfect companion for a modern car head unit with a USB port. I can load a huge collection of music, that rarely needs changing, in no time at all via the USB 3.0 model, and its ultra-low profile means not breaking the USB port or snapping it off with an errant swinging hand while it's plugged in.
I would highly recommend this jump drive for this music transporting purpose alone.
