User manual is useless for amateur/householder wanting to tune TV antenna to transmitter.
If you don't have a diploma in Digital Terrestrial Television Antenna Tuning the user manual is of no help.
The user manual does not explain how to interpret and/or how MER and/or BER readings can be changed by moving the antenna; (nor whether BER is pre or post signal adjustment).
Also, the user manual does not explain how to use/interpret/alter the spectrum analyser reading.
For an amateur/householder the SATKING SK2500C would be a good tool if the user manual was written for an amateur/householder rather than a qualified antenna installer.
For a qualified antenna installer I don't think the SATKING SK2500C would be suitable outside of a strong signal area.
I am an amateur/householder who bought the SK2500C to tune a VHF directional antenna in a fringe area. After hours of research I have a fairly basic understanding of workings of the meter; its capabilities and shortfalls and is why I only say its okay and give it three stars.Read full review...
