Very cute and entertaining for children. The handle is easy to turn and the surprise pop up of the clown works! It takes a little coordination to put the clown back down and secure the door but that is true with all jack in the boxes. This one is colorful and I believe will last thru a lot of play. How Much fun from something so simple, Wind it up and listen to the Music. Anticipation mounting and then watching the Clown Pop out brings smiles and sometimes scary Looks on the face of my son and his small friends...they toss it away in the corner for a while after using but once it comes out again brings hours of fun and enjoyment all over.

Broke after a couple of plays
After I tried it out and gave my review I wrapped it for a Christmas gift. After it was opened Christmas morning, my Granddaughter tried playing it. It worked once and never again.
