Viscoflex CE Level 2 pads

I bought 2 sets of shoulder pads and 2 sets of elbow pads to outfit an old Icon Merc jacket (10+ years old) and a brand new Bilt Blaze jacket. The Merc factory inserts had literally disintegrated and rotted away, as the OEM rubber inserts usually do. Both sets fit great in both jackets, although the elbow pads were a little snug in the Bilt jacket elbow slots/pockets. After squeezing them and moving them around, they seemed to settle in. The pads are flexible yet firm, and they don't make it awkward to move around.

These were the same price as the Icon D30 Level 1 pads, so why not go for the next step up? Hopefully I'll never have to 'test' these pads but I feel they should do the job just fine as they are CE certified. Read full review...
