Seabiscuit

The movie Seabiscuit represents movie making at it's best. It is perfectly cast and you get to see Gary Stevens, a Hall of Fame Jockey plays George Wolfe the legendary jockey of thoroughbred racings golden days. You see some of the history and grandeur of the Santa Anita Race track in the thirties. It is easy to see how popular those races of the past were and the characters who made horse racing truly the sport of kings. The movie is really four stories, the jockey, the owner, the trainer and of course the great Seabiscuit. This is a story which cannot be made any better and should become a classic in the years to come.

Animals really know how to bring humans happiness.

Great story line with an average picture

the picture is decent for an HD DVD. It is not crystal clear but it doesnt have that many grainy scenes. The storyline is touching and is definately a great family movie. There are not to many scenes for surround sound so dont count on this movie to shake you house! Overall I give it a 4/5Read full review...

this movie is about america' struggling through the great depression, and the people who showed determination to survive & excell. more than a movie about horses, this great cast, costume, and location brought this wonderful human story to the screen.

A great movie about a great horse - This is one of those feel good movies that both entertains and gives you a window into history - The story is real and even Hollywood could not make it better than it really was - I have watched this movie many times already, and went to see it in the theater when came out.

You cannot miss with this one. See it for yourself.

Seabicuit

Excellent movie and very clear picture. I bought it because I had seen the movie in normal 480P But wanted to see it on my HD Toshiba xa2. Sound and picture quality were outstanding.

A sorry experience!

Tried to play this DVD on three different players and could get nothing but a message "can not play,etc." Price was too low to make the "NO SHOW" an issue. Love the movie; wanted to show it for my grandchildren. This purchase experience was not a good one.Read full review...

Buy this amazing horse racing film!

Buy It! The best horse racing film to come out. Depicts a true event and I felt like I was part of the story itself. I wish more movies come out like this in the future.

This is a great movie for entire family. It is my favorite movie and have watched it many times without leaving the room. Hard to find a good clean movie anymore.
