Great Drive! Works Great!

Put it to work right away! Hooked it up to a USB to Sata Cable/adaptor. Partitioned it for 2 drives. I Use 1 to back up my files such as: Music, Docs. Vids, Recipes(collected over 7 years)and Pics. The second partition I use for my + the wife's 4 computers storing: System Images + Drivers + OS ISO's. Still have a lot of room for more. Works with windows 7Ultimate Pro and Home(32bit and 64bit), and Windows 10 Pro and Home(both 32 and 64 bit versions). Works on an AMD Athlon machine, and my Pentium D Quad boot computer(so I suppose it should work with almost anything). Seagate has always been good.

These Drive's looks new to me. I saw a post that stated his wasn't but both of mine were.

You will need to format these drives for your system. They do not come formatted, at least mine were not already setup as NTFS prior to installing in my laptop. Not that this is a big problem. If your not savy about how to do it just go to google and do a search. In a couple clicks you'll find out all you need to know. I thought these were a decent bargin for the price. If you're looking to swap hard drives in the PS3, GET THIS HARD DRIVE!

I bought this product to swap out the 120 GB hard drive in my PS3 that was quickly running out of space. The hard drive works great and fits all specifications that it must in order to be accepted by the PS3.

The product arrived in a timely manner and works perfectly, though the process of swapping hard drives is a bit time consuming. I can't say that I found anything that I disliked about the hard drive, as it does exactly what it's supposed do.

Almost every other review that I've seen says about the same thing. The Seagate Momentus (ST9500325AS) is the perfect hard drive to use when swapping hard drives in the PS3, nuff said.Read full review...

Slim compact external storage

I have wonderful news for my review on the Seagate momentus 5400.6 500 GB, Internal,5400 ,RPM,2.5'' Hard Drive.
this hard drive has quite a fast response, for being a 500 GB,
Specialy being that it has to go through a lot of space when put through the scanning process of the intire 500 gigs, it scans pretty fast. I like it and I am glad that I purchased it.

Great drive at a great price.

I recently bought a used computer from eBay. The computer came loaded with lots of extras. I knew that if the drive in the computer went toes up I would loose the extras it came with as well as all the data I had moved over. Solution find another 500gig dive at a good price. The drive arrived quickly and I was able it slip it into an external enclosure and and clone the entire contents of my laptop drive to the Seagate. So what happens in the future if the drive in my computer goes toes up. The Seagate was cloned as a bootable drive so all I have to do is take out the bad one and slip in the Seagate and I am up and running like new again as quickly as it takes me to undo a few screws and disconnect some cables. Great drive, and because it is a Seagate I know it will work perfectly when and if I ever need it.Read full review...

Sony-recommended OEM Replacement for PS3 System! Awesome!

This is the PERFECT PS3 Upgrade. This is the one you need. It is a direct replacement for the Seagate5400 that came OEM on the PS3 Fat. This was a very satisfying purchase.

This item filled my need for a larger hard drive. This item is light, inexpensive, and it works. I was able to fit it into my MAC Book easily and without difficulty.
