Does the job

I've had good experience with previous Sealey products which is why I decided to get this one. It works by scraping off some of the metal on the post as you rotate it. Frankly, I'm not sure which is the "right" way to rotate it to clean the terminals, one way seems to dig in more than the other and neither direction seems to give a clean flat surface. Granted looks aren't important for a good connection.

Personally I think that the cheaper push-on round wire brush type gives a better job with less damage to the terminals at least general removal of oxidation and crud.

I'm guessing that this product probably works better for heavier build up, which I didn't have on my 4 batteries and therefore can't feed back on..

Both are in the tool box now, time will tell which becomes the preferred tool.Read full review...

Cleaning terminals

Well it sort of does what it's meant to,
Yes the terminal scrapers both work,

Are they heavy enough to remove battery arc damage - not really, corrosion yes.

Reamer is handy -- BIG BUT-- IS too big to work on negative lead ends only on positive.
So for what I bought it for it has only done half the job.
Rest I will have to shape my own reamer for

Good idea but not the tool for the job

While it might seem a good idea, the tool did not clean the round battery terminals, more like left huge cut marks in them. The part where it cleans the battery leads that connect to the terminal worked Read full review...

Dose a good job

Cleans battery terminals, I feel it’s more 3 way than 4 as a tool. It’s a bit more aggressive than the brush type. But that was what I required.
