Good value in the grand scheme of things.
It does exactly what you need it to do and I wish I'd bought one years ago instead of just putting off the job of carburettor balancing my four cylinder bike because it was too difficult. For those with a dual feed system, you don't need to buy Sealey's expensive dual feed conversion, a simple 6mm Y connector for about a quid or so on eBay does the trick perfectly.
For the money, it's well worth it. There are videos on YT showing how to make one out of an old car washer bottle etc. but you'd still spend about a tenner on parts and when you factor in the time involved to source, modify and assemble the parts, just going straight for this Sealey item is really a no-brainer. Buy it.Read full review...

Functional product and decent quality.
All the parts fit together well. Only problem was that the valve spigot was too small to fit snugly into the fuel hose from my carbs. I had to buy an inline hose connector to put into my carbs hose, and put the other end into a 10cm piece of hose i cut off the 100cm hose that is supplied. Then I could plug the valve into that 10cm piece. Eventually it all worked without any leakage.Read full review...

Excellent temporary tank for running engines during fuel/air system diagnostics.
Excellent temporary tank for running engines during fuel/air system diagnostics.
Motorcycle fuel line connectors and diameters vary, so you will need to create adaptors.
All parts are of good quality and work well. Volume markings on tank are helpful. Tap seals well. Good (long) length of pipe.

Sealey mini fuel tank
Rigged this up to my old classic car that had not run in years. Suspect fuel tank has old stale gummed up fuel lines.
Used this small tank to feed clean fresh fuel to carbs and engine. Worked well, got the car going to be able to move it around.Read full review...

Motorcycle carburettor tuning remote fuel tank
Excellant product and works well but you need 2 extra hose clips to connect it to your bike. Even if you buy the additional 2 carb adaptor kit which I did, you are still 2 hose clips short. You will also need the Amal banjo fittings to connect to your carbs. having said this its still an excellent product.Read full review...

Makes some jobs so much easier
It’s easy to use and handy for any job that needs a bleeding hopper.i would give it a 5⭐️ If it came with more clips or a selection of different sized ID pipes ?. Saying all that it’s a cracking bit of kit.Read full review...

Remote fuel tank
As a temporary fuel tank for testing an engine it's OK
It does its job.
The quality is adequate as a temporary fuel tank, but not for more sustained use as the container is a bit thin, & the hose has no reinforcing built in.
I would hazard a guess that the tank material is not UV stabilised so will break down in a short time when exposed to sunlight & maybe fluorescent lights.
The item is a bit over priced. ₤15 would be more reasonable.Read full review...

Perfect for the job
Bought this as temporary fuel supply for my 1939 Ford 8 as it has no tank fitted. Worked a treat as a gravity feed straight to the carburettor. If you're thinking of buying one then don't hesitate!

Best new tool I bought this year
Restoring an old motorcycle and using this I could start it up without having to use the ancient fuel in the main tank. Thankfully resisted the urge to suspend it from my beard and go on a test run. Will come in handy for tuning the carbs. A useful addition to the tool kit.Read full review...
