Great match

I aquired a dual humbucker guitar and went thru my box of pickups and installed an APH1 in the bridge and a DiMarzio in the neck. Got good sounds but something was a little off in the neck. Finally pulled the trigger and bought an APH1 for the neck. Turned a very good guitar into a great tone machine.Read full review...

scoop mid

has low mids and too much highs in a bright axe. diff axe has dimarzio 36 and they sound up front and i suppose accurate. then back to seymour and kinda enjoy the scooped mids. the highs are ok, define it. nice to have several axes to switch back & forth. confused? so am i. it sounds way diff in a playing situation. so, yer on yer own here. dimarzio paf 36 is other choice in my opin. either of these is way better than the ones that came with the axe. Seymour Duncan Alnico II

I put this in my Dean Avalanche guitar that I recently purchased which is a older Korean made guitar and it is amazing the difference it made!! Would highly recommend this for any 80's rocker like myself!!Read full review...

SD Alnico pro II...

Bought it to replace a failed pup in my uncle's '78 Standard.... Ended up liking it more than MY stock Les Paul's pickups... so I bought my own set.... Yes, they are THAT good.

Great pickup especially for slide guitar. weaker magnet structure allows the notes to sustain longer

Personally I feel more confident of the consistency of quality of Seymour Duncan's pickups than of the Fender or Gibson equivalents. Myself, I am generally seeking Vintage tones and for my ears Seymour consistently nails it. And too, the prices of his offerings are quite reasonable considering the quality of the product. Frequently less expensive than the Fender or Gibson unit, and as previously stated I have greater faith that the Duncan will satisfy my sonic expectations!! FANTASTIC QUALITY AT A REASONABLE COST!!!Read full review...
