The Shrek movie is fun and entertaining. I decided to purchase the movie for my children ages 2 and 3 years of age. There is only one thing I didn't like about the film. Shrek does some strange things. For example, he pokes his behind. My children are small and look up to Shrek and now they have started to poke their behind. That, I dislike. Shrek, a great movie for children, adults and families!

I bought this movie Shrek for my son. He LOVES to watch the video and has watched it so much, that I needed a back up in case the video breaks. Not only that, but I am trying to replace some of my favorite VHS' with the DVD version.

Although my son is almost 3, I do suggest that the movie be purchased for someone a little older, perhaps 7 and up. Since I do watch this movie with my son, I have noticed some inappropriate language, that (Thank God) my son has not picked up. Nothing too foul like an explitive, but things like , "Shut Up" and and so on.

As an adult, I enjoy this movie again and again. I notice how almost real the characters seem, even though they are CGI and each time I watch it I find something new, that I have't seen before: a little extra detail that may not have been clear the first or second or third time I've watched.

Shrek is The Best.

The whole family loves Shrek because it's funny and entertaining. But I love Shrek because of Eddie Murphy's character "Donkey". Donkey is hilarious, caring and has the outmost respect for his friend Shrek. And Shrek is one-of-a-kind, indeed. Princess Fiona, The Ginger Bread Man, Robin Hood, Pinocchio, and Lord Farquaad keeps the laughs coming. The characters are funny, the story line is clever, which makes Shrek a must have for any DVD collection. And children and adults will love this animated film. It's so entertaining, the whole family will watch it over and over, again. It's that good. No wonder it's the first animated film to win an academy award for best animated feature.Read full review...
