This movie is HILARIOUS and entertaining for all ages! This is the tale of a tough-on-the-outside-sensitive-on-the-inside oger Shrek and the donkey that won't leave him alone. The more simple humor will entertain kids, and the mere fact that cartoons are making jokes that children can't understand will make teens and adults laugh. I recommend this movie to everyone! All I have to say is Shrek, where have you been all of my life? After seeing the preview for Shrek 3 at the movie theater on television I decided to purchase Shrek 1 ans Shrek 2. I enjoyed them greatly.

These are fantsstic famliy movies! I can also watch them over again. I'm very selective when it comes to movies so when I see a good one I spread the news.

Fun, but PG for a reason!

Fun movie, very likable. But for the very young, note that there is language you may not want the below 8 set to hear (jokes about donkey's various names). Some jokes may go above their heads, but some of the language could stick and be repeated post-film watching. Just something to think about. I purchased shrek ( 2003 ) as a christmas gift for my sibling. it was as great buy because it wascheaper than purchasing it in the store. also, it was convenient for me especially with all the congestion in all the local area stores, and it arrived undamaged and in a reasonalbe amount of time. no complaints from me.Read full review...

i purchased this as an b-day gift for my 6 year old.. When I recieved it, the product was like brand new.. If memory served me right, it was still in shrink wrap, if not, It was in prefect condition.. My son loved it.. still loves it..

What a wonderful movie to snuggle up with the family on a rainy day & watch. This is one of uor family favorites. Shrek is the most loved Ogre I have ever seen and Donkey will keep you laughing the whole time! The Best Since Toy Story

I love that you can watch it with your child and not be bored. Great slight adult humor. I love all 3 of them.. Not many cartoon shows can match up to shrek and toy story!!! Yeah Love Donkey!!!
