Good ADSL+ router if you can get it for about Eur 5 (plus postage fees)
(+) I like very much the metallic color and design (form) of this router.
(+) It has WLAN, four LAN ports, two analog phone connection and a connection for Telephone line. Plus a USB port (1.1 version). Old model with lots of features.
(+) [Experts only] Possible to load SMC firmware to get more functionality and to change user interface to English. e.g. upto four SIP accounts can be registered after loading third party firmware. Though not tested by me, it is possible to load Annex-A variant of firmware to use this router in other countries.
(+) Phones will ring to incoming land line calls even if the router is off.
(-) There is a risk in buying this very old model because its on/off switch may fail at any time.
(-) Original Siemens firmware supports two SIP accounts only.
(-) Missing many useful features like switch or a code via telephone to turn WLAN on and off. VOIP functions will not work if you use it behind another modem.Read full review...
Unbedingt zu empfehlen
Sehr gut erklärt und ganz simpel.Geeignet auch für Mitmenschen die keine Technikfreaks sind.Sehr gut geeignet wenn der Router der Telekom seinen Dienst quittiert hat.Lässt sich problemlos integrieren.Der Router versieht seinen Dienst ohne Probleme.Ist genauso gut ,zum Teil noch besser als der Router den die Telekom stellt und wesentlich günstiger.Read full review...

Seit dieses Gerät bei uns ist kommen wir ohne Probleme ins Internet. Wir sind begeistert. Die Installation war Ruck-Zuck gemacht.
