Dull and uninteresting

Right from the outset, I'm a big Le Carre fan and have most of his works. This however ain't one of them anymore. From the opening very confused chapter the story grinds forward with a cast of unsympathetic characters, none of whom you can cheer for. The story drags on and on until you reach the point, as I did, that you don't care who does what to whom and why. If, as has been reviewed elsewhere, the story is about ultimate redemption you'll find you're uninterested if the main character finds redemption or not.
Summed up in one word - boring. Tinker,Tailor,Soldier,Spy it most definately isn't. Save your money.Read full review...
