Good trap for budding lepidopterists like me!

Well made and easy to assemble and set up. I have an extension cable on a reel to set up further away from the socket. I cover the reel socket with a bucket to keep it dry.

Used in June but catches were disappointing due, I hoped, to the cooler weather.

Not much light emitting from the bulb caused initial concern; unlike the super light emitting mercury vapour bulbs I had seen before.

Used in July in the better weather and WOW!! ...fantastic variety of catch including Privet and Poplar hawk moths. No more low lighting concerns!
